At BC Zurich, there are daily training opportunities at all levels and for all age groups. Training takes place in the two Yonex badminton halls in the centre of Zurich. Our members also benefit from special conditions there and therefore often train individually and independently of the official training times.
Coaches :
Andrew Dabeka (Head Coach). Before taking up his position with BC Zurich, the Canadian served as a national team coach in Canada and Switzerland. As a player, he reached the top 20 in the world rankings and capped his playing career by competing at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Titon Gustaman (Assistant Coach). The double specialist, who comes from Indonesia, has been playing for BC Zurich since 2014 and made a significant contribution to the club’s promotion to the top league. As a coach, he is responsible for the NLA, the interclub players and children’s training. NLA player and fellow countryman Azmy Qowimuramadhoni is at his side as an assistant.
Soen Rimmer, Hehui Zhou, Kevin Camacho Selvarajah and Yul Schmid, all members of our NLA team, are involved in coaching our youngest players in various children’s training programmes.
